Joe’s Scanner App Installation Guide

This guide shows how to download, install, and configure the latest Windows version of the Joe’s Scanner app. The new release uses a modern installer and automatically updates itself in future versions.

How to Install the Application:

Run the installer and follow the prompts. You will see screens similar to the examples below.

First Launch

On first launch, you will see the main Joe’s Scanner window with playback controls at the top and space for live calls in the center.

Log In with Your Subscription

The app uses the same email and password you use on joesscanner.com. If you need to update your password, you can do so here:

Configure Connection Settings

Inside the app:

Open Settings
In the Connection section, confirm the server is set to https://app.joesscanner.com
Enter your email (username) and password
Click Save at the top
Click Validate to confirm your subscription

Start Listening

Once your account is validated:

Return to the Main tab
Click Connect

Troubleshooting

Verify your email and password match your joesscanner.com account
Confirm your subscription is active
Click Validate again in Settings
Ensure your internet connection is working
